Purpose Focused Therapy is designed to help guide women on their journey to discovering their purpose.

Description

andrea-anderson-polk-2.jpg

You’ve taken all the assessments, worked with a career coach, endless job searching-- all to no avail. You’ve exhausted all you resources and don’t know how to move forward. You can no longer do what you are currently doing but don’t know how to get to where you want to be.

You’ve come to the right place.

Sessions are designed to help you establish a permanent, deep-seated joy of the soul regardless of your success, your career accomplishments, or your ministry endeavors. Join many others and enter a fulfilling life that combines your gifts, passions, and desires as well as your heartaches, imperfections, and failures.

Purpose Focused Therapy is not just about identifying career goals and only focusing on the positive aspects of self or a one-size-fits-all method. It is not a straightforward process, especially when dealing with the hurting hearts of people when it comes to satisfying the unmet longings of the soul.

Purpose Focused sessions are not solely a study of interests, personality, and strengths or an inventory assessment but a study of the person and their story which incorporates their pain.

Who is it for?

Purpose Focused Therapy is for people who are experiencing meaningless work, chronic emptiness, unfulfilled at their core, live disconnected from their true self, and who are dissatisfied with their career path.

Purpose Focused Therapy is Designed for Three Types of People:

Type 1

You have a successful career, yet you are miserable at work and desire something more meaningful that incorporates your deepest heart’s desires.

Type 2

You want to discover your unique calling and vocation or understand how the pain you’ve experienced and the suffering you’ve encountered ties into your God-given purpose.

Type 3

You've outgrown your current job. You long to find a fulfilling career that pays the bills, brings you joy, provides meaning, makes an impact, and satisfies your soul.

What is purpose?

Purpose entails your essence as a person: who you are, what you want, operating in your place of passion, your irreplaceable role in the lives of others, your story, and the specific talents, gifts, and strengths that are unique to you. Purpose incorporates your calling as orchestrated by God that only you can fulfill. Discovering your purpose requires you to look inside your story and to search the depths of your heart.

Purpose does not always equate to an occupation, dream, or vocation. A meaningful life generally includes an occupation, but it must truly satisfy the soul if it is considered your purpose.

Finding Purpose Instead of a Dream

So many people, authors, speakers, and influences share messages geared toward how to “live your dream.” This message you hear quite often is a bit of a cliché. I believe there is a distinction between dream and purpose.

What does the process entail?
